How do I set up the Adaptive Sales app?

Simple step-by-step instructions on how to set up and earn additional money with Adaptive Sales up-sell & cross-sell automatic suggestions (Ads) for more products to buy.

I. Shopping Cart page Offers.

1. Enable Ads for Shopping Cart page (Enable Adaptive Offer Banners for the Shopping Cart page)

2. Set up a list of products to show in Offer Banner Ads

NOTICE! The selection of products for offer is carried out by the value of the attribute of the product: kinvasoft-adaptive-sale-cart-product (Fig. 3)

Find product you need to show, for including a product in the list just put: Yes or Y  (Fig. 4)

You need to go  

My Sales >> Catalog >> Products >> Attributes >> kinvasoft-adaptive-sale-cart-product

3. Set up an Offer title to show in the Offer Banner Ads

Name your additional product special offer in the cart section. For example: “Add one of the items for free shipping”. (Fig. 5)

4. Setup Setpoint value filter for Customer selection to show the Ads

Set up an Adaptive Sales smart filter to show products Ads in the Shopping Cart section for the selected customers. This section is designed to make Customers always happy and not to annoy them constantly with additional offers to buy something extra.

  1. Total price of goods in Shopping Cart less than Setpoint value 

As soon as you set up a Setpoint value for “Shopping Cart less than Setpoint value” the new Customer will see your Ads Banners only in cases if the Customer has not reached your Setpoint value number (you need to put this number in your currency, see below). Usually, this number is AOV (average order value) or Estimated average check value.

Example: You have set a Setpoint value for “Shopping Cart less than Setpoint value” in currency at $ 150. New Customers scored goods in a Shopping cart for $ 90. So, in this case, your Ads will be shown to this Customer in order to up your average order value!

  1. For any price of goods in Shopping Cart 

As soon as you set up a Setpoint value for “Any value of goods sold” new Customers will always see your Ads Banners.

  1. Total price of goods in Shopping Cart is more than the Setpoint value

As soon as you set up a Setpoint value for “Shopping Cart value of goods is more than Setpoint value” the new Customer will see your Ads Banners only in cases if the Customer reached your Setpoint value number (you need to put this number in your currency below).  

5. Where to show the Offer Ads?

Set up the section on the checkout page where the offer will be displayed. 

  1. Below the product list 


 In this case your Ads to be shown below the product list, right here (Fig. 6)

II. Pop-up Window offers

2. Set up a list of products to show in Pop-up Window

3. Set up an Offer title for Pop-up Window Banner Ads

Name your additional product special offer in the Pop-up Window. For example: “Don't forget to buy our best Golden Face Masks” (Fig. 12)

4. Setup Setpoint value filter for Customer selection to show the Pop-up Window Ads 

Set up an Adaptive Sales smart filter to show products Ads in the Shopping Cart section for the selected customers. This section is designed to make Customers always happy and not to annoy them constantly with additional offers to buy something extra.

  1. Total price of goods in Shopping Cart less than Setpoint value 

As soon as you set up a Setpoint value for “Shopping Cart less than Setpoint value” the new Customer will see your Pop-up Window Ads only in cases if the Customer has Not reached your Setpoint value number. Usually, this number is AOV (average order value) or Estimated average check value.

Example: You have set a Setpoint value for “Shopping Cart less than Setpoint value” in currency at $ 150. New Customers scored goods in a Shopping cart for $ 90. So, in this case, your Pop-up Window Ads will be shown for this Customer in order to up your average sales!

  1. For any price of goods in Shopping Cart 

As soon as you set up a Setpoint value for “Any value of goods sold” new Customers will always see your Pop-up Window in the Shopping Cart page.



  1. Total price of goods in the Shopping Cart is more than the Setpoint value

As soon as you set up a Setpoint value for “Shopping Cart value of goods is more than Setpoint value” the new Customer will see your Ads Banners only in cases if the Customer reached your Setpoint value number or up the number, you need to put this number in your currency, see below.


III. Top & Bottom Banners Ads

1. Enable Top & Bottom Ads (Adaptive Top & Bottom Banners)

2. Set up a list of products to show in Top & Bottom Banners Ads

3. Set up an Offer title for Top & Bottom Banners Ads

Name your additional product special offer in the Top & Bottom Ads. For example: “BEST SALE EVER” (Fig. 17)

4. Put the text for Top & Bottom Banners Ads

Type the text for your additional product special offer in the Top & Bottom Ads. For example: “Nothing comes between me and my Calvins” (Fig. 18)

5. Link to the page for Button Link in Top & Bottom Banners Ads

Put a link to a page for Button link in Top & Bottom Banner Ads, (Fig. 19)

7. Where to show the Offer Ads?

Set up the section where the offer will be displayed. 

  1. On Top

  1. On Bottom



8. Stick Banner at location

If enabled, it makes the Ads Bar sticky to the top of the browser


or on the bottom of the browser after scrolling
